108 agendas have been approved in the Bihar Cabinet meeting. Many important proposals were approved in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Nitish government has given Holi gift to the government employees. DA in the state has been increased by four percent. That means DA has now increased from 46 percent to 50 percent.

Airport will be built in Rajgir and Bhagalpur

The Chief Minister also agreed to the proposal to hand over Moinul Haq Stadium to BCCI. Bihar government will give Moinul Haq stadium on lease. Townships will be constructed in major cities of Bihar. Approval was given for the construction of a new airport by shifting the existing airport at Bhagalpur and marking the land for the construction of a runway of at least six thousand feet length and a terminal building. New posts were created in these departments

Creation of 61 new posts for the management and operation of Patna Museum and creation of 34 new posts in different categories as per minimum requirement for running the museum smoothly. Six posts have been created permanently for Bihar Heritage Development Committee. Approval has been given for creation of new posts in the Education Department. In the light of Bihar State School Teacher Manual 2023, 4074 posts of Higher Secondary Teacher have already been created under Panchayati Raj and Municipal Body Institutions. 4316 posts of secondary teachers, 5957 posts of classes six to eight (graduate level), 11039 posts of basic grades from classes one to five have been created. The monthly honorarium of ex-serviceman cum roomkeeper employed on contract in the jail of Bihar has been increased from Rs 17250 to Rs 19 thousand 800. Apart from this, 13 new posts have been created in the Labor Resources Department.
